The Sponsorships Committee is responsible for identifying additonal income and in-kind work for the chapter to support the educational programming and member events. It also seeks to bring the PR community together by building a bridge between the agencies and suppliers that support the public relations and public affairs industries by managing the sponsor relationships throughout the year to ensure NCC sponsors receive maximum benefits for their support.
What We Do
This committee seeks sponsors that are affiliated with the communications community to either support the chapter on an annual basis or during a single program or event. As a member of the committee, building relationships with our current and potential sponsors is an important way to ensure we are providing them value. Every committee member is asked to identify new sponsors and to review our upcoming programs to match suitable sponsors for specific events.
Who We Are Looking For
Anyone who is interested in immersing themselves in the DC-area communications community can make contact and work with the industry on behalf of the chapter. Sponsorships are based on a calendar year. The busy times are at the beginnning of the year when we need renewals, the few months prior to our annual Thoth Awards Gala, where sponsorships are unique and hold special value, and at the end of the year when we meet with the sponsors to brief them on the upcoming year's programming and agenda.
