Primary Duties and Responsibilities
 

  • Participates in creation of social and digital content and editorial calendars to support established department goals and objectives.
  • Contributes to creation of editorial content for internal and external audiences across digital and print platforms, including brochures, flyers, websites, blog posts, newsletters, reports and other products.
  • Assists in creating and managing project timelines and editorial calendar(s) for opportunities across platforms, as directed.
  • Supports broader public relations, marketing, and/or event efforts as requested.
  • Adheres to department policies, procedures, quality standards and safety standards. Complies with governmental and accreditation regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

REPORTS TO: Manager, Marketing & Communications

Qualifications:

Education and Experience

Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited college/university and with a major in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or Communications, or have a demonstrated interest in the field. Candidates should also have a willingness to learn more about healthcare, education, innovation and technology.
 

Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills, including editing and proofreading and should be proficient in Microsoft Office products, social platforms and other relevant technologies. Strong organization skills are essential. Graphic/interactive design, photography and/or production experience is a plus.
